Locally Grown Plants

Several people have told us about a new enterprise ‘Locally Grown Plants’ which has been set up by David Freeman at the Fruit Farm in Chittering (on the A10 between Ely and Cambridge) and will be open each weekend from now on.   They have a good selection of garden and vegetable plants all sourced from very local nurseries.  The idea is to provide a single outlet for several growers and to easily provide locally grown alternatives to imported garden centre plants.

Reports are that the plants look good and the prices compare favourably with garden centres for specific things.  He will order anything you want.  Tomato plants will be available before long.

It is worth supporting as everything is grown VERY locally.
